St Wolfgang 1998

10.7.98 - Stephen woke up this morning quite sick.  I drove about 2 hrs on the motorway, stopped at a roadhouse for lunch.  Boys had Wiener Schnitzel again. Petrol very dear.  Drove into Germany and out again on our way to Salzburg.  A beautiful drive to St Wolfgang, good mountain roads.  Arrived about 2 pm, nice room, small bathroom.  I took the boys up town for tea - Spaghetti Bolognese, reasonable tea.  Stephen stayed in bed.  Festival in the town square and the battle of the bands.  Early night tonight.

Day 15 - Today we drove to St Wolfgang.  It is a town near Salzburg.  We went to town and there was a festival, there was a band playing songs and lots of beer.  There was even a T.V. Camera there.  There was a jumping castle with a slide, I went on it with my brother and it really sucked.  The hotel we're staying in is like an apartment, it has a bunk, a double bed, table to eat off, a wardrobe and a little bedside table to rest or read at.

Day 15 - When we got to St Wolfgang we unpacked our bags and Christian and I played soccer in the playground but we couldn't kick it that hard because otherwise it would hit the ladies flowers.  Then we started to walk up town and on the way found some slugs, we called them Echidna Slugs, because they had little spikes on their backs.  When we got to town we went to the river and it was light blue. Then we walked up and there were lots of shops that priced.  After that we went to a fair that had a jumping castle and we went on it.  We walked up a little bit more and there were two bands that were having a battle.  We walked back and had a little rest and then we had to go back for tea.
