30.6.98 - Travelled through some lovely small towns on our way to Luxembourg. Walked around Luxembourg and went on train ride of the city. Very interesting information. Very expensive, clean town. All items are of good quality.
Stayed outside main centre near a huge shopping centre. Great patisserie and eating area in this shopping centre. Had dinner at Pizza Hut. Boys had a great time. Took a menu to take home to classes at Emerald.

Day 5 - Today we drove to Luxembourg to stay. When we got there it was freezing. we had a baguette sandwich and a hot chocolate that warmed us up. We went on a train that told us about the history of the big city. The city had been levelled to the ground 20 times by wars and fighting and rebuilt to full size again and again. I bought 91 Francs worth of firecrackers which is about 26 Aussie dollars. This afternoon we were blowing holes in the sand pile at the back of the hotel with firecrackers.

Day 5 - Today we bought lot's of fireworks and firecrackers. It was a long drive to Luxembourg we had a sleep in the car and when I woke up we were at Luxembourg, we started walking and found little pedal cars and a merry-go-round but we didn't go on any. We went to a cafe and mum and dad had a coffee. After we went to a church and you had to be really quiet. We found a little train that goes around a little valley and tells you the history of Luxembourg in the earphones. Then we had to find a hotel and dad found one so we went there and let a bit of our firecrackers off, we did a couple of little ones and one big one.
